PBL Guide

This interdisciplinary project design for OSH learning on the platform page of OSHDigit,- consists of the application of the active methodology of learning in the principal’s contents of the disciplines of the area, with the aim of building multidisciplinary learning. The course time, or in case to be applied in the university- the semester, it´s developed in consideration of this large project realized by groups of students and obviously, with the supervision of the teachers related to the different curricular disciplines included in the PBL
This peculiar and exclusive project must include motivated and dynamic students, capable of pursuing the best output/result possible. Presuppose a fixed view and posture, characteristically active and diligent in the search for knowledge, determination, and scientific thoroughness. The objective is to see active improvement of the teams/groups through the presentations and demonstrations of the acquisition of the needed scientific and technical skills related to the different curricular disciplines/fields of the area, with the aim of collecting solid solutions and distinguished and reliable practices of the problem/practical example chosen.
The project also allows the development of the principal skills needed for the best performance in Engineering, more exactly in HST, preparing for the Laboral context creating the ability to work as a team, manage conflicts, argue, write communication, critical evaluation, ponderation and decision capacity and at the same time allows creativity ally with the initiative and expression of the individual, building and contributing for functional processes of innovation and global professional development.
This document works as a reference for the planning, development, and evaluation of this interdisciplinary project of this area’s essential and primordial knowledge. It’s important and its indispensable to use this guide not only by the different teachers involved but also by the students.
