Objectives & Goals:
Main objective: Enhance digital pedagogic competencies of university teachers in OSH discipline by giving them practical guidance and training and to equip them with OSH e-resources and tools for the use in digital learning.

GOAL I: Enhance digital pedagogic competencies of university teachers in OSH discipline by giving them guidance and training
GOAL II: Equip the teachers with OSH e-resources and tools for the use in digital learning;
GOAL III: Foster sharing and transfer of best practices and innovative approaches in university-level OSH digital learning.

VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering

VSB Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TUO) is a public institution of higher education which provides tertiary education in more than one hundred accredited educational programmes in engineering, IT, technology, economics and business-related branches. The Faculty of Safety Engineering (FSE) is the youngest faculty of VSB-TUO established in 2002 in response to the growing demand of practice for highly educated professionals in the area of safety engineering and for related research activities. AUVA Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt – the Austrian Workers’ Compensation Board, Austria

AUVA is the Austrian Social Insurance for occupational risks for approximately 2.9 million employed persons, 494,000 self employed persons and 1.4 million school children and students. AUVA carwes annually for about 180.000 victims of occupational accidents and pays about 72,000 compensations per year to victims of occupational accidents and industrial diseases. The legal basis for AUVA is laid down in an Austrian law, the Social Security Act (Allgemeines Sozialversicherungsgesetz – ASVG).

The main legal duties of AUVA are the following: Prevention of occupational accidents and industrial diseases. First aid in connection with industrial diseases. Occupational medical care. Rehabilitation in rehabilitation centres. Compensation payment (pensions) after occupational accidents and industrial diseases.
